Volunteer

The Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation has many opportunities for individuals to volunteer! You can volunteer to help at upcoming events, camps, Tread Setters rides, wheelchair basketball, etc. by emailing cthfaccounts@cthf.net or by calling 505-243-6626.  Volunteers 18 years or older must have a background check completed through the CTFH.  In order to sign up please go to the links below.

Camp Adventure

Camp Adventure runs annually in June. Volunteers needed as camp counselors and support roles that include facilitation of specific activities, serving food, and more.

Spring Adpative Cycling

Support riders are needed on Sundays in the Spring and Fall. Volunteers are paired with participants in small groups so participants can bike as long as they’d like – 15 minutes all the way to 1.5 hours.

Wheelchair Basketball

Volunteers at this program help with setup and take down of equipment, facilitation of drills/scrimmages, etc. Support is needed year-round on Saturdays.

If you are interested in volunteering at UNM Carrie Tingley Hospital, please note: the Foundation does not place volunteers directly at the Hospital. To apply, you need to complete a separate application process through the University of New Mexico Hospital system. Call 505-272-2356 for an application and to learn more about their volunteer openings, any required trainings and more details at the hospital.
