Cookies with Santa
Cookies With Santa is a joyous annual celebration hosted by the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation, dedicated to bringing holiday cheer to the children and families of Carrie Tingley Hospital. This heartwarming event offers a delightful day of festivities, writing letters to Santa, cookies, and creating cherished memories for all who attend.

After a wonderful celebration in 2025, we look forward to doing it all again at the end of this year. Keep an eye on this webpage for updates as the year goes on.
A Look Back at 2025
In 2025, the event was held at Sawmill Market who graciously let us use their Mill Room and The Yard extension. 2025 Cookies with Santa welcomed over 300 individuals across several hours of donut and cocoa enjoyment, Santa visits, and winter wonderland exploration around Sawmill where Festival of Trees was also set up.
- Toy Distribution: Each child from UNM Carrie Tingley Hospital received a toy, spreading smiles and joy.
- Delicious Treats: The wonderful husband and wife team at Snugglecub Cookies donated New Mexico-themed cookie delights that brought a homey feel to the event. Several Krispy Kreme locations around ABQ donated several dozen glazed donuts as well - plenty of delicious treats were had!
- Cozy Quilts: The New Mexico Quilters Association provided beautiful quilts again this year, adding warmth and comfort to the festivities.
- Books Galore: Libros for Kids, Read to Me!, and Dolly Parton's Imagination Library generously provided an array of books, encouraging the joy of reading.
- Christmas Village: The Curley family of Santa Fe donated a 1,500+ piece Christmas village to the Foundation that was set up near the Mill Room. Watching the children and families admire and explore the village was a privilege that we cannot thank the Curley family enough for.
- APD, BCSO, ABQ FBI and Nusenda all joined our community in celebration and provided many volunteers to help make the day magical.
