The Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation is dedicated to supporting families of physically disabled children by providing comprehensive financial assistance. Our program aims to alleviate the financial burden associated with caring for a physically disabled child, ensuring families can focus on their child’s health and well-being.
Program Services
Adaptive Equipment:
Funding for essential adaptive equipment to enhance the quality of life and independence of physically disabled children.
Utility Assistance:
Financial support to cover utility bills, ensuring families have access to necessary services like electricity, water, and heating.
Rental and Mortgage Payments:
Assistance with rental and mortgage payments to help families maintain stable housing.
Food Assistance:
Provision of funds for nutritious food to support the health and well-being of the entire family.
Transportation:
Financial aid for transportation costs, including public transit fares and vehicle maintenance, ensures families can attend medical appointments and other essential activities.
Lodging:
Support for lodging expenses for families traveling from out of town for medical appointments at Carrie Tingley Hospital, ensuring they have a comfortable place to stay.
Mileage Reimbursement:
This program reimburses mileage incurred while traveling to medical appointments at Carrie Tingley Hospital, easing the financial strain of long-distance travel.

Eligibility & Application
Families with a physically disabled child who demonstrate financial need can apply for assistance. Applications are reviewed case-by-case to ensure support is provided to those who need it most. We provide families with a comprehensive list of community sponsors to assist with aid. The Foundation is here for our children and families to help supplement community aid.
NOTE: All applicants must have a denial letter from an insurance company or utility provider before applying for assistance to the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation.
