Patient & Family Assistance

The Patient and Family program provides financial assistance for a variety of needs to patients of Carrie Tingley Hospital and their families.

We can help with (but not limited to):

  • Home and vehicle modifications
  • Mortgage/rental assistance
  • Utility bill assistance
  • Auto repair
  • Car payments
  • Durable medical equipment not covered by insurance
  • Gas cards for patient visits
  • Lodging for patient visits and other items related to basic needs and care of patient.

Camp Adventure Summer Camp

Camp Adventure is a summer adaptive camp for children 6 to 19-years-old living with permanent disabilities that receive care at Carrie Tingley Hospital. Camp Adventure allows children and teens the opportunity to unleash their possibilities!

During camp, campers enjoy sports, art, music, and games. Most importantly, they have fun and create lasting friendships and memories. Camp is staffed by qualified instructors and volunteers who provide instruction, encouragement, and support. Learn More

Virtual Camp

Virtual Camps allow campers to enjoy and take part in all the fun and interactive programing from the safety of their homes. Each camper that registers will receive a Camp-in-a-Sac, filled with materials and supplies for the whole family to participate!

Wheelchair Basketball

Become a part of our awesome wheelchair basketball team! Any child between the ages of 6 – 18 years of age with physical disabilities and is a patient at Carrie Tingley Hospital is invited to participate. Participation is free, sports wheelchairs are provided for all ages. Learn More

Tread Setters Adaptive Cycling

The Tread Setters, formerly called the Zia Freewheelers, is a youth adaptive cycling program of the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation with a focus on providing group rides to Carrie Tingley patients who need special adaptations to participate in cycling.
